Two novellas are standalones: “Bargain With the Wind” reimagines the Cinderella story as it might have been told by Emily Brontë. And “The Wrong Bridegroom” tells what happens when a headstrong princess runs off with a reckless sorcerer rather than marry the stodgy nobleman chosen by her father the king.
